I'm also interested in designing and building electronic devices and making modifications to existing hardware. I rarely work with electronics though cause I prefer working with software. With software I already have access to all the resources I need for any project, but electronics takes a lot more planning and having to wait months for parts which I find annoying, not to mention all the soldering work.
